|  | F-Zero, beyond everyone's imagination.
To be totally honest, I was truly nervous about developing this game.
Although I've been developing games for more than a decade, creating the next iteration within such a longstanding and popular series seemed very daunting.
Adding to this immense pressure was the fact that we were collaborating with Nintendo, and we wanted to make a great impression; not to mention the fact that the F-ZERO games are some of my favorite titles to play when I have time to enjoy myself.
Because of all the pressure, I considered not taking on the project, but ultimately my curiosity about what my team and I could create overcame those fears.
Once development had gotten started, these fears quickly subsided. Even when difficult decisions had to be made, I relied upon my own passion for the series to guide me. With Nintendo's help, we were able to create an exceptional racing game that combined the best elements from the past with more unique elements made possible by our combined talents.
I'm excited for players to discover the many new elements we've added to the series.
I think they'll appreciate the way we've carefully balanced classic F-ZERO gameplay with state-of-the-art visuals and a brand-new atmosphere.
It has been an honor working on this project and I am immensely proud of the results. I hope that fans of the series and even those new to the series will enjoy this game.
